Dual Post
HOLY BAJEBUS!!! Thanks to a german news site I have been informed that Knoppix 3.7 has been completed. News
Theres the news article. For those of you who don't know, Knoppix is linux. There are several different versions avaliable for download. One version you can install on your pc while another boots from a cd. For those of you who know much about Linux, Knoppix is a very good tool as Linux allows you to do things Windows doesn't as well as open sever security bypasses.
The Knoppix homepage is where you can go to check out info on Knoppix or download a copy. I currently have 2 different versions of the bootable burned to cd.
Now, the reason this is called a dual post is I am bringing you some more news about a different topic. Nvidia has been working with the technology to put 2 video cards on one motherboard to boost performance, or SLI technology. If you would like to see it in action go to here but the short and skimpy of that article says that in most cases it boosts your quality and performance roughly 50%. If thats worth an extra video card's cost, go for it, but I'd simply upgrade what hardware you already have, especially if you don't have the processing power to use the dual video cards. Yes this gives way to amazing new gaming posibilities, but personally I can't afford 2 video cards.
